Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund is grateful for volunteers like Jennifer Scott of Boone County.
“Jennifer helps with everything,” ASPSF Program Manager Kim Paul-Williams said. “She has helped with the United Way golf tournament and Ride the Ozarks Rally every year. She also helps with applications, reviews, interviews, fundraising, everything!”
To thank Jennifer, ASPSF has named her as the April 2023 Volunteer of the Month.
The six-year volunteer is a former scholarship recipient, mother to five kids between the ages of 14-28, and loves meeting ASPSF students and their families. She bought her first home when she was 40 years old and plans to return to school for her bachelor’s degree.
“Anyone can do it,” said Jennifer about returning to school. “I remind students that it will all be worth it for them and their families.”
She added: “I love working with Kim, and all of our volunteers. We have a great team!”
Thank you, Jennifer, for giving back to ASPSF and helping single parent families on their journey to a better life!
